Brian McCorkle

MANAGING PARTNER

Brian is a Managing Partner of JBL Global, working in trading and business development while providing financial oversight and management of JBL’s sister company, ELM Pork, which is one of the largest wean pig and feeder pig trading companies in North America.

Brian was born in Central Indiana and grew up on his family’s farm gaining valuable experience in production agriculture. Brian’s interests in business and finance led him to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Brian has 20+ years of experience in livestock trading, meat trading, and business development ranging from agriculture-based business to Port City Capital, a real estate development firm operating in coastal North Carolina.

Brian resides in Mexico City with his wife and 3 children.

J Culpepper

MANAGING PARTNER

.J is a Managing Partner of JBL Global, working in global trade, international market development, and management of JBL’s strategic direction as a business.

J grew up in North Carolina and went on to obtain dual degrees in International Business and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the Universidad de Vigo in Spain.

Prior to joining JBL Global, J spent 13 years with NutriQuest as a Managing Partner and Director of Latin America. NutriQuest is a science-based technology company that develops value-added feed additives for the global livestock industry with focus on gut health, immunology, and pork meat quality.

J has 15+ years of experience in meat trading and international agriculture business development ranging from feed additive market development to serving as a founding partner of a 10,000-acre grain farming operation in Paraguay, South America.

J resides in Mexico City with wife and 2 children.

Iray Hinojosa

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Iray is the COO of JBL Global, managing Import/Export operations and general administration of the company.

Iray has more than 15 years of experience in Global Logistics, International Business, and Customs Brokerage, handling a diverse portfolio of products and managing global projects.

Iray has worked for companies such as Unilever, Cargill, and Best Buy where she developed and executed logistics projects on a global scale.

Iray has a degree in International Business from the Institute of Technology of Monterrey and is Certified from the same institution in the area of Supply Chain Administration and Logistics.

Iray resides in State of Mexico, Mexico with her husband, two children, and pets.

Geovanni Sanchez

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Geovanni is the Operations Supervisor of JBL Global, managing international logistics operations and interacting with suppliers, customs agents, and customers to ensure on time and precise product deliveries.

Geovanni has a degree in International Economic Relations from the School of Economics of the University of the State of Mexico and has additional certifications in Customs Management and Foreign Trade.

Geovanni has more than 4 years of experience working in Importation and Exportation for international companies utilizing his technical knowledge in food customs processes and retail merchandise.

Geovanni resides in State of Mexico, Mexico.

Leslie Donathan

CONTROLLER

Leslie is a licensed CPA and the Controller of JBL Global, providing overall leadership of key financial and accounting functions.

Leslie was raised in North Carolina and attended The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with focuses in Accounting and Finance.

Leslie later obtained her CPA license while employed at a large CPA firm where she specialized in federal tax for 12 years. She later founded an All-Inclusive Tax, Accounting & Consulting firm focusing on real estate development and various types of investments.

Leslie resides in Wilmington, NC with her two children, and pets.
